Spring Time 1-Day Retreat
Spring is time of renewal, regrowth, new growth and blossoming. BLOOM is a 1-Day personal retreat to help unfold the lotus flower of our hearts and refresh our minds as we find ourselves in longer, brighter days. May we shake off any residual winter sleepiness and stretch our bodies making the space for more light to enter in.
Let us join together for a full day of movement, meditation, and ceremony honoring the sacred transition of seasons changing. Aligning with the stage and season of nature helps us to live more harmoniously within ourselves and with the world the world around us.
Schedule:
9am-10:30am: Yoga Asana: Springing Forward.
10:30am-11:15: Tea + Snack Break (extra time to shower up/change)
11:15am - 12:30pm: Lecture + Meditation
12:30 - 1:30pm: Lunch Break
1:30pm - 2:45pm: Restorative Practice - A little bit of yin goes a long way. As if we are coming out of hibernation, let’s take our sweet time awakening the shadowy places within us through gentle (yet deep) stretches while simultaneously exploring our own inner topography through guided meditation and visualization.
2:45pm - 3:15: Tea + Snack Break
3:15pm - 4:30pm: Saraswati Puja - The Goddess of Springtime, Learning, Wisdom, Speech. This puja - a ceremony using flower and water - is performed to help spark new insight in the mind, support our studies on the spiritual path and cultivate artistic expression.

Lunch is NOT included. Please feel free to bring your own (kitchen available to you) or just down the hill is Seaside Market.
Studio is off of Birmingham and Crest Drive
The 90min asana class is heated
Bathroom with shower available for you to clean up after class
